To that end, we’ve been busy bees, working on some exciting pricing updates that we think you’ll absolutely love coming this December 2023. In this article, we’re going to dive into the details of these changes and why they matter to you.
1. More Flexibility with New Pricing Plans
Old: Currently, Talenox provides two pricing options: the FREE plan and the SUITE plan. While the SUITE plan encompasses all of our fantastic features across all three modules (Profiles, Payroll, and Leave), there has been demand from some users for increased flexibility in paying only for the specific modules they require.
As evident from the options above, our plan offerings are limited to just two choices: FREE and SUITE. It’s a clear-cut decision between the two, leaving little room for middle-ground preferences. The FREE plan provides access to basic payroll features, while the SUITE encompasses a wide range of advanced functionalities, from advanced payroll reporting to comprehensive leave management. However, we may have overlooked the fact that some users desire comprehensive payroll capabilities without the need for leave management, and vice versa.
New: Your wishes are our command! We’re introducing single-module pricing plans, giving you greater control over your operating costs. Now, you can choose from four plans: FREE, PAYROLL, LEAVE, and SUITE. Whether you’re a small business looking for basic payroll support or a larger company in need of a full-suite HR solution, we’ve got a plan that suits you.
Let’s break it down:
- FREE Plan: Our FREE plan remains a stronghold for those dipping their toes into the Talenox experience, offering basic features without any cost. We recommend this plan to startups and small businesses looking to move away from Excel (sorry, Microsoft!) and automate their payroll without breaking the bank.
- PAYROLL Plan: This plan is a game-changer for businesses that require a robust yet straightforward payroll system, along with the generation of advanced reports. It’s designed to handle everything from complex salary calculations to statutory compliance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. We recommend this plan to small and medium businesses that have more complex payroll needs, such as the generation of detailed payroll reports.
- LEAVE Plan: Tailored for managing employee leave, this plan simplifies leave tracking and approvals, making it a breeze for both HR personnel and employees. We recommend this plan to small and medium businesses that want a highly flexible leave management system with features ranging from multi-level approvers to specially curated leave types.
- SUITE Plan: The SUITE plan is the ultimate package, combining the prowess of both PAYROLL and LEAVE plans along with additional features for a comprehensive HR solution. We recommend this plan to anyone looking for more bang for their buck(s), since this plan encompasses the full HR powerhouse, all in one package.
Soon, you may select from the four available plans—FREE, PAYROLL, LEAVE, and SUITE, with visual icons clearly outlining the module(s) you’re getting access to. Our additional pricing plans means you can choose precisely what you need, without paying for features that won’t benefit your company.
Why the change?
This expansion is more than just adding options; it’s about providing a solution that aligns perfectly with your unique business needs. Whether you’re a fledgling startup or a well-established corporation, our plans are designed to grow with you.
2. Increased Price Caps Driven by Economic Factors
Old: At present, Talenox offers varying price caps that are tailored to different countries and regions. For example, the price cap for Singapore-based entities is just S$400, while the price cap for Malaysia-based entities is just RM1200. Once you hit this price cap, it doesn’t matter if you have 200 employees or 2000 employees – your bill remains the same.
New: We’re increasing our price caps by 20% across the board to account for inflation and maintain the affordability of our HR solutions for businesses worldwide.
More on price cap increments
- Only new entities created and/or new plan subscriptions will be affected by the new price caps.
- If you’re a current customer with an existing price plan (e.g. SUITE) and…
- choose not do do anything: your price cap will remain the same according to the date when you first subscribed.
- switch to another plan (e.g. PAYROLL): the new price cap will apply.
- If you are on the FREE plan, the price cap does not matter since you are not paying for anything (i.e $0).
Why the change?
This adjustment is essential not only to align with the rising costs of operation but also to ensure we can continue investing in developing enhanced features and services for our users, maintaining the quality and innovation you expect from us.
3. Annual Pricing Discounts
Old: Talenox’s platform primarily showcases monthly subscription plans, with annual ones being more of an undisclosed feature. This option, while not prominently available on the user interface, can be accessed through special requests granted on a case-by-case basis.
New: In the updated Talenox platform, the annual billing option will be prominently featured alongside monthly plans. This enhancement makes it readily accessible on the user interface, offering users a straightforward choice between monthly and annual subscriptions without the need to reach out to us.

Old: Currently, navigating our billing and payment options isn’t as straightforward as we’d like it to be.
New: We’re giving our Billing Dashboard a fresh makeover, and it will look better than ever. The new design offers:
- Greater Ease of Use: We’ve streamlined the layout to make it more intuitive and user-friendly.
- Access to Past Invoices: Easily view and download your past invoices for reference and record-keeping.
- Improved Plan Management: Upgrading or downgrading your plan is now a breeze, thanks to clear and concise steps.
- Easy Payment Info Amendment: Need to update your payment information? You can do it hassle-free from the dashboard.
The revamped Billing Dashboard will ensure that managing your Talenox subscription is a smooth and stress-free experience. No more searching high and low for important information or struggling to make changes to your plan.

The layout is cleaner and more organised, with all the important stuff at the top, and other separate, distinct sections at the bottom. This design overhaul makes it incredibly straightforward to find what you’re looking for, whether it’s a specific invoice or the option to upgrade your plan.

- This section emphasises the precise termination date of your plan, whether it’s a trial period or a paid subscription. It also includes a countdown displaying the remaining days until the plan’s termination. This information enables you to proactively prepare for the next steps when your plan reaches its end.
- The button “Change plan”, brings you to another page where you’ll get to pick from all the available pricing plans Talenox offers.
- If you’re currently enjoying our trial period, you’ll observe that it encompasses all the features available in our SUITE plan. In the event that you decide to switch to a different plan, you’ll have a clear and concise overview of what you might potentially lose in one glance.
