One thing that keeps us going at Talenox is that there’s always some process or experience that can be designed more efficiently and meaningfully. So when we encounter something that has been revised for the better, we get really excited. Gordon came across something that fit the bill when he opened a corporate account with DBS Bank. Here’s how it went:
Some thoughts:
The UI (User Interface) on the DBS application page is clean and intuitive.Β The best part about filling up the online form is that it is integrated to ACRA Bizfile. This means that after keying in your company’s UEN number, the relevant information is automatically filled up in their respective fields, leaving very little that needs to be keyed in manually. That was the reason it took mere minutes.
It’s good to see local banks leading the way with digital innovation. But even better to see them pair that technology with prompt customer service and speedy follow-up. What used to be a tedious and manual process has now been condensed into a 5-minute application, PLUS the bank takes care of everything else. In addition, the free DBS Ideal Internet banking and zero minimum balance requirement for the Digital Account is a real boon to SMEs that have very limited manpower and resources.
